The duration of each fellowship/internship depends on the needs of the intern and USFMEP programs. A minimum of six month to one year commitment is required and applicants available for longer commitments are encouraged. Interns will conduct research and writing, provide administrative assistance, attend meetings, and undertake other tasks as necessary, under the direction of the relevant programmatic staff. Development Intern: Fundraising and Event Planning USFMEP is looking for a creative, dedicated, and self-reliant intern with excellent communication, research and time-management skills. Working directly with the Executive Director and Board of Director committees, the intern will conduct research on grant opportunities, write letters of interest, maintain a donor database, meet with perspective supporters, and design and organize receptions and fundraising events and campaigns. The intern will support other administrative duties, as necessary. Priority Deadline: Immediate Position Available
2. Social Media/Communications Intern USFMEP is looking for a creative, dedicated, and organized individual to join our team as social media/ communications intern. This intern would provide support to the Communications Coordinator on progressive outreach campaigning using social media (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, etc) as well as other communications outputs such as website content, newsletters, list serve, and press releases.
